ABOUT JOHN

Combining his passions for painting, wine-tasting and exploring the stunning Okanagan, John took the leap to be a full-time artist in early 2007.   Using bold colours, iridescent paints and touches of gold-leaf, John strives to capture the wonderful lifestyle and warmth of British Columbia's wine region.

John's paintings highlight the area's wineries, vineyards and scenic destinations.  His art can be viewed at select wineries throughout the South Okanagan and at his studio-gallery by appointment.   John also sells his art at many art and wine related events throughout the year.  Please see the events page for upcoming shows.

STUDIO-GALLERY

Goudie Fine Art & Design is located in on the second floor of The Cannery Trade Centre in Penticton, BC, Canada.   John built his studio to resemble a small wine tasting room -- including a nicely stocked wine bar!  John crafted his desk and cabinets out of found wood including packing crates and shipping pallets.
